Position: Night Coach Drilling Supervisor
Hiring Duration: 1 Year
Start Date: Tentative 9 October 2024 8 October 2025
Rotation: 21/21 or 28/28 (Upon the owner's assignment)
Job Description:
- Coaching Night drilling supervisor to understand NDSV role.
- Supervise drilling rigs as per company standards and well management system to fully meet project objectives
- Provide daily instructions to the drilling contractor and third-party service contractors concerning conduct the work
- Ensure service company personnel are aware of their duties and that all required personnel, materials, and equipment at the rig are checked for readiness
- Ensure government regulations and requirements are adhered to by all parties
- Maintain a constant awareness of well bore conditions and operating constraints that affect operational safety including weather conditions
- Initiate changes to the pre-agreed well operation program as and when required, to protect personnel, environment, equipment, and the well
- Ensure all rig personnel are competent in the usage of equipment
- Audit the work performed by the drilling contractor and third-party service contractors to ensure they comply with terms of contracts and agreements
- Ensure that all cost control and material control reports required by company standards and regulatory bodies are completed to a professional standard.
- Manage company SSHE system on the drilling site and observe all company security, safety, health, and environment instructions
- Led the drilling contractors as per Emergency Response Plan on the drilling site
- Responsible for timely reporting of any unsafe conditions or activities, dangerous occurrences, or injuries in the workplace.
- Ensure all equipment is delivered to the rig on schedule
- Optimize vessel movement and utilization
- Provide good communication and judgment on reporting the drilling activities, problems, and anomalies to Superintendent, Drilling Operations
- Update and improve drilling procedures
- Manage emergency with minimum losses to lives, properties, and productivity
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in offshore well operations with minimum 3 years experience in onsite drilling supervision and 2 Years as senior drilling supervisor.
- Have experience on drilling operations in the Gulf of Thailand
- Have experience on Offline Activities in Gulf of Thailand
- Have experience on development, exploration, and appraisal well operation
- Exposure to completion and workover
- Knowledge of well site operations to supervise drilling, completion, and fluids/cement programs execution
- Must be certified in basic safety, TBOSIET, H2S awareness, first aid, and fire-fighting.
- Rigging and slinging trained
- Must be certified and valid during operations with IADC or IWCF well control (Drilling level 4) certificate
- Good in written and spoken English skills
