Character Artist, who live for excellence in art and don't settle for anything but the best they can possibly do. Someone who will blend in the team along with some of the top talents in the industry and inspire them back. An artist hungry for knowledge with plenty to give, one who can put their ego aside and trust the team for a true and meaningful collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Understand the task; conceptualize, present and execute your ideas from A to Z
- Work collaboratively and ego-free with the rest of the team to create amazing illustrations
- Own your work and take responsibility for it, be proud of it
- If working remotely, keep the communication channel open and keep a good work ethic
- Create high-quality character designs.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback to meet project goals and vision.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the industry
- Strong drawing, layout and compositional skills
- Ability to communicate the important elements in the correct hierarchy through composition and storytelling
- Strong anthropomorphic characters design skills, stylized anatomy and structure
- Solid understanding of perspective
- Ability to stay on model when painting existing characters in new poses and expressions
- Strong understanding of color; values; light/shadow; the ability to paint volumes and textures
- Excellent Photoshop skills and clear layer management
- Set the highest quality bar for yourself
- Fluency in English
