The Account Director will have either senior management experience or consultancy experience, preferably both, with a proven track record for developing Clients, nurturing relationships and converting opportunities.
As Account Director you will be responsible for:
- Developing effective growth strategies and managing the opportunities for existing clients
- Managing and developing key client relationships
- Contributes to the development of best practice principles in conjunction with the group
- Lead a team to provide the utmost of client service
- Liaise with the senior clients on a day-to-day basis
- Deliver and manage a client pulse program that provides regular and structured client feedback
You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and developing relationships and ways of working with new clients. You will be coordinating and liaising with the global team and operations team to deliver your objectives.
You will be a confident self starter with excellent communication, relationship building and organisational skills.
This role combines pitch preparation, pitching and strategic planning for new and existing clients as well as driving operational strategy across the business. Strong Client facing and presentation skills are essential as is a strategic brain and the ability to question the norm and think outside the box.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure the Client Services Director is kept up to date on client opportunity and challenges on a regular basis.
- Be the authority on key account decisions and commercial opportunities.
- Meet with client senior stakeholders and implement commercial, innovation & process improvement plans.
- Proactively finds opportunity by looking for the best way of maximising delivery for the brand and driving this opportunity with our Clients.
- Provide leadership to the internal creative and operational teams, detailing and mentoring excellence in strategic client support, that results in the delivery of multi channel best in class media execution solutions.
- Influence client thinking to drive new revenue channels and deliver outstanding business related results.
- Maintain the Company's high profile and reputation in understanding our client to then deliver and develop an continuous standard of excellence in ; reputation, account development, unique skill sets and abilities.
- Host and lead the internal and client management information and work in progress meetings
- Drive and influence the key briefs from clients by showing a clear understanding of their business objectives, to deliver the right media execution requirements and cascade information to key account managers across APAC.
- Deliver measurable client service by staying in touch with the pulse of our and our clients business, at all times deliver a complete professional can do attitude.
- Partner internally across the organisation with operations, planning and creative teams,driving internal disciplines and processes that provide the tools that enable us to do business with existing clients or with new business opportunities.
- Mentor and develop the team to drive them to deliver operational compliance, excellence, creative thinking, cost benefit to both our clients and to any internal challenges,foster knowledge-sharing across all disciplines internally to ensure collaborative and joined up thinking across the team.

- Ensure that managers and supervisors are fully trained on all aspects of planning and client's reporting; will require use of research tools,as well as excellent writing and presentation skills.
