Job Description

The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships with clients in order to understand their objectives. This candidate will be able to provide creative solutions and deliver these solutions using strong presentation skills. Additionally, they should have experience in managing people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Uncover client's needs, desires and objectives and craft a creative solution that aligns with these needs
  • Clearly communicate client's objectives with colleagues and drive development of timely solution
  • Provide strategic analysis to help shape client's business
  • Contact clients senior marketing and advertising management
  • Conduct regular meetings of his/her account group for full and frank discussion of client problems, opportunities, and work in progress
  • Review clients advertising plans with the Client Partner and Account Manager
  • Review creative and other staff wok to ensure that it reflects the strategy and objectives prior to submission to the client
  • Review annual projections of client gross income and personnel needs
  • Ensure a high level of agency performance on behalf of clients assigned
  • Periodically review account profitability to ascertain that a reasonable profit is being earned from the work done for each client
  • Promote, when appropriate, other agency services, such as research and public relations
  • Proactively analyse and provide solutions to key developments which have implications for his/her client counterparts or agency management
  • Stay alert for opportunities to increase client activity and billing, as well as obtaining new business from existing clients
  • Prepare agency financial budgets, i.e. revenue, agency direct costs, and staffing needs

Qualifications

Have been working in Account Management and Communication discipline for at least 6 years with an emphasis on creative agency environment, and or/content development for major clients. We want to see your ability to create, build upon and sustain success. If you can do that the years do not matter.

  • A strong understanding of media planning, distribution and content syndication
  • Superb experience leading creative thinking in the digital space: content, media, social and activation
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • A nose for new technology, new content solutions, social media events and developmentsplus a strong connection with entertainment and pop culture
  • An ear for consumer insightsyou get what makes people tick
  • The ability to back up great creative ideas with sound analytical reasoning
  • A strong, up-to-date point of view on digital media, social channels and content platforms and up and coming partners, practices and initiatives
  • Poise and eloquencewhen you speak with clients, they listen.
  • Proficient in English
