Description
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of your account, ensuring the successful execution of marketing initiatives and the delivery of exceptional service. This is a challenging role in a fast-paced marketing environment, requiring a committed, team-orientated individual, who has strong financial acumen and the ambition to succeed in a client facing role.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with local and global suppliers for POS/promotional material procurement, focusing on price negotiation and profit margins.
- Produce accurate customer quotations and ensure data integrity in systems and communication.
- Support material development with client marketing teams and internal stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day project tracking, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Oversee quality control, ensuring proper certification for import/export. Communicate order status to stakeholders and ensure timely delivery.
- Handle invoicing upon delivery and maintain effective team communication.
- Provide operational and logistical support for client requests.
- Prioritize customer service and resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
- Support strategic and business development planning.
Skills And Experience
- 5+ years of international account management experience.
- Expertise in managing multiple global accounts, including product creation, pricing, distribution, packaging, and strategic marketing in the premiums industry.
- Proven success in proactive sales, especially in gifts and premium product categories would be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong presentation and IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in managing and growing major customer accounts. Skilled in identifying business opportunities and pursuing profitable sales.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to set measurable objectives.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication for various business documents.
