Description
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for analyzing information, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with routine accounting duties. Your role will also involve providing courteous responses to inquiries and complaints from clients, vendors, and lenders. Strong communication, research, and computer skills are essential for this position.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering efficient and reliable support to various departments and external parties. Trustworthiness, thoroughness, and excellent time management are key attributes for this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoice verification, tracking payments, and ensuring timely collection or payment of funds
- Assist in formulating and implementing expense control strategies, reviewing and processing employee expense reimbursement, and ensuring compliance and budget control
- Verify, record, and process transactions using relevant documents
- Maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and inventory information
- Support the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including financial reporting, budget development, tax preparation, and audit assistance
- Engage with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure accuracy of charges and timely payments
- Communicate with clients to address account statuses, charges, or discrepancies
- Participate in ongoing education to stay updated on industry trends, financial legislation, and company policies
- Conduct internal audits and prepare reports
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
