Job Summary
The selected candidate shall be responsible for the accounting & administrative functions of the company.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and maintain accounts that will be reviewed and used by an outside CA firm to prepare tax returns and perform the annual financial audit.
- Recording of cash receipts and bank deposits and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts.
- Oversee processing of accounts payable and receivable and ensure prompt collection of receivables.
- Oversee and maintain contracts with related vendors & purchase supplies and equipment as authorized.
- Tag and monitor fixed assets and equipment, maintaining a property ledger for IT and non-IT equipment.
- Maintain updated policies and ensure compliance to all policies, employee personnel files and serve as point of contact for all payroll/benefits inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt, courteous and appropriate resolution.
- Oversee work by housekeeping staff and ensure hygiene & upkeep of the office.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in book-keeping, Tally software, accounting, GST / PT / TDS calculations, and compliance.
- Knowledge of admin functions preferred.
- A good knowledge of MS Office and a pleasing personality are required.
