Accounts Executive
Overview:
The Accounts Executive plays a crucial role in the financial management of the organization. They are responsible for managing and executing a range of accounting and financial tasks, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and providing key financial insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger
- Handle tax preparation and compliance activities
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Conduct regular financial reviews and identify areas for improvement
- Provide support in financial audits and internal control processes
- Assist in financial planning and cash flow management
- Communicate financial information to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met
- Utilize accounting software to process transactions and generate reports
- Handle ad-hoc financial tasks as required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Familiarity with internal control processes and financial audits
- Strong ethics and understanding of confidentiality principles
- Ability to adapt to evolving accounting technology and tools
