We are looking for an
Advanced Electrical Test Engineer to test and validate the electronic control systems for our next-generation quantum computers at our
Broomfield, CO location. For this role, we are seeking someone with expertise in test engineering, software scripting and automation, and electrical design principles. Project may include electronics with ADC/DACs, amplifiers, passive/active filtering, analog control loops, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and low-noise design techniques and measurements. All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and conduct tests to characterize and validate a complex electronics system capable of controlling digital, analog, and RF circuitry
- Work with a small development team to complete projects on-time with first-pass success
- Work in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment
You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree Minimum
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in the development and execution of test plans and procedures for electronic hardware.
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident or green card holder
We Value
- Masters/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Test experience on analog, RF, and digital hardware
- Python scripting knowledge and test automation experience
- Knowledge of low-noise measurement techniques, especially for phase noise and NSD
- Board design experience is a plus but not required (Altium PCB software preferred)
- Strong communication skills and right size design documentation
