Architect

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of architectural design and planning, from conceptualization to completion, guiding projects through every stage, ensuring adherence to design standards, codes and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead architectural design efforts, including conceptualization, schematic design, design development and construction documentation.
2. Collaborate with clients, engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into viable architectural solutions.
3. Develop and present design proposals, including sketches, drawings and 3D models, to communicate design intent effectively.
4. Provide technical expertise and guidance on building materials, construction techniques and sustainability practices.
5. Oversee the preparation of construction documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations and coordination with consultants.
6. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve issues and ensure adherence to design specifications.
7. Mentor and supervise junior architects and interns, fostering their professional growth and development.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in architecture and design.
9. Collaborate with project managers to establish project timelines, budgets and resource allocations.
10. Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants and project team members to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
2. Registered Architect with a valid license to practice architecture.
3. Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
4. Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
5. Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations and construction standards.
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
7. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality architectural projects on time and within budget.
9. Experience working on a variety of project types, including commercial, residential, institutional, and/or mixed-use developments.
