As an Artist Manager, you will serve as a key relationship team member and partner with clients on both a strategic and tactical level. You will provide support in negotiating contracts, relationship management, integrated digital marketing, and marketing strategy to help drive critical success for clients businesses. Responsible throughout a project for managing administrative and organizational work flow and ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiating contracts. A large part of artist management is advising a client on business decisions and negotiating on their behalf. Because managers have a financial stake in the success of their client, it's in their interest to negotiate hard for the best possible deals. A good manager has strong interpersonal skills and negotiating acumen.
  • Artist Marketing and image. The success of an artist depends a lot on good marketing and branding. A manager can help craft an artist's public image with an eye towards current trends.
  • Artist Touring. Managers work with an artist in putting together their client's touring schedules. Tours have a lot of moving parts and require strong logistical and planning skills. Managers work to get their clients booked in good venues and markets and follow through to make sure that tours run smoothly.
  • Artist development. Managers help to nurture an artist creatively. Managers often have contacts in the industry with producers or other artists who can collaborate with their clients and help them grow as artists. Managers often talk with their clients on a daily basis and help guide them through a variety of business decisions.
  • Promotion. An artist's success is contingent on good promotion. A manager works hard to promote their artists and get them featured on websites and publications that can help spread their reach.
  • Budgeting and money management. Good managers build teams around an artist to help them manage their finances and keep tours and production under budget. Artists rarely have the business acumen or interest in micromanaging every area of their finances. Artist managers often connect their clients with good business managers and accountants to help them manage their money.
  • Multimedia opportunities. As artist's grow more successful, opportunities crop up outside of the industry. Superstars often appear on TV shows and in film in order to diversify their brand and expand their reach beyond just Thailand.
  • Understanding of the client's business and solid knowledge of the competitive market in which the brand operates.
  • Assist in project management, digital brand strategy, assist in coordination between client and teams.
  • Assist team in achieving creative excellence and meet client's expectations.
  • Participating in weekly client status calls, internal team meetings, client performance reviews, and other client related meetings.
  • Have ability to manage multiple campaigns or projects in parallel, under tight deadlines.
  • Evaluate and report current situation and result of campaign.
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient documentation, communication and dissemination of information regarding client activities and client administrative procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Communication Arts or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Advertising Agency field or related.
  • Fluent English / Thai written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use Google Suite Apps.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Analytical and logical; standard strategic marketing skills (competitive assessment, industry analysis, SWOT, etc).
  • Experience in key account management.
  • Good accounting and corporate tax knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of celebrities, influencers, KOLs, online marketing, online channels, technology trends and platforms.
  • Time management : ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to details.
  • Cheerful, self-initiative, good team player and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fast learner of new technologies.
  • Good strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Always push your creativity and be innovative!
  • Maintain a good level of quality and a strong work ethic.
  • Hardworking and able to work under pressure.
