LIFE Deployment
LIFE culture (mindset, behaviours, usage of CI tools) is a favorable environment to get good and robust industrial performances. A specific self assessment matrix is used by the plants in order to score their level of maturity with LIFE.
So the missions of the CI Manager for Regional LIFE deployment are:
- making sure these self assements are regularly done in each plant of the given region and are used to define their roadmap for LIFE deployment.
- working closely with the plants'CI managers of the given region, in order these roadmaps are real guidelines for the plants and help them to make progress.
- regularly provide updated and improved self assessment matrix in order to push the plants to expand LIFE deployment.

1.Management of LIFE diagnosis:
* coach or supervise or participate to each LIFE diagnosis in each plant , according to the needs of the plant and the importance of the diag
* participate (either physically or by call) at the conclusions of the diag
* support the plant for the building of the corresponding action plan

Building and execution of macroplans
For a given plant, the macroplan gathers all the expected quoted savings of the plant coming from projects or CI activities. The savings are calendarized and it is thus possible to review each month the current situation vs the expected one. The macroplan is done by the CI manager of the plant.
The role of the CI Manager for Regional LIFE deployment is to make sure the macroplan processus works well, meaning each plant's CI manager is able to provide a feasible macroplan to reach the plant's targets. That leads to:
-provide a clear standard for the definition and building of the macroplan
- make sure all the opportunities are taken into account and translated into quoted savings
- make sure the timelines are realistic
- challenge the plant's CI manager when necessary
- Be part of the preparation and review of the macroplan
