Job Title: Assistant Brand Communication Manager
**Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Assistant Brand Communication Manager to join our team. You will work closely with the Brand Communication Manager to ensure that our messaging aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience across various channels.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Assist in Developing Communication Strategies:** Collaborate with the Brand Communication Manager to develop comprehensive communication strategies that support the overall brand objectives.
2. **Content Creation and Management:** Create compelling content for various platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and advertising campaigns. Ensure consistency in messaging and brand tone across all channels.
3. **Social Media Management:** Manage social media channels, including content creation, posting schedules, engagement, and community management. Monitor trends and identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and engagement.
4. **Media Relations:** Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Pitch stories, press releases, and other relevant content to secure media coverage and endorsements.
5. **Brand Monitoring and Analysis:** Monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and trends across various channels. Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
6. **Event Management:** Assist in planning and coordinating events, including product launches, press conferences, trade shows, and sponsorships. Ensure seamless execution and maximize brand exposure at events.
7. **Collaboration and Coordination:** Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Creative Services, to ensure alignment of communication efforts with overall business objectives.
8. **Budget Management:** Assist in managing the communication budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve desired outcomes.
**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
2. Proven experience in brand communication, marketing, or public relations.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
5. Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
6. Knowledge of media relations and PR best practices.
7. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. Experience with graphic design and/or video production.
2. Familiarity with SEO principles and practices.
3. Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
4. Experience in managing external agencies and vendors.
5. Previous experience in a similar role within the relevant industry.
