Assistant Event Manager (Thai Citizen) at Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit

As Assistant Event Manager you'll develop and set revenue sales and marketing strategies for the hotel to ensure plans are implemented, results are monitored, and sales goals are achieved. Regularly meeting rooms, Co-working space, and food and beverage through direct client contacts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Small to Medium sized Events / Groups as approved by the Cluster Director of Sales. You will be responsible for the successful outcome of assigned programs from pre-arrival to post-departure; you will be able to coordinate and attend meetings as needed.
• Assemble and distribute consistent, concise group resumes and banquet event orders representing a convention's every requirement for all departments.You will work closely with the client and key hotel departments throughout the conference, being available to assist guests at the appropriate times, and driving excellent customer satisfaction scores.
• Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and catering staff to determine potential enhancements to the guest experience.
• Achieves the monthly and annual personal target contributing to the Sales revenue

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of Wedding or Event experience required
• Must be an efficient multi-tasker, highly organized, and detail-oriented
• Excellent customer relations, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Proven ability to create new business opportunities
• Assertive, professional, and positive with a proven ability to develop in a team environment
• Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a hectic environment
