Job Description
- Oversee the Finance operations team to ensure accurate and timely recognition of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual transactions and reconciliations.
- Coordinate the month-end close process to ensure all financial transactions are reported promptly and accurately, in compliance with regulatory, Group, audit, and industry standards.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly financial reports into Group, Management, Statutory, and Tax views, and perform monthly reconciliations across various reporting views, analyzing results against plans.
- Produce cash flow forecasts and scenario planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Manage audit and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) activities for all entities.
- Oversee the control of the vendor master file, bank mandates, and general expense authorization limits for the Thailand entities.
- Ensure compliance with Group Reporting and Accounting Policy requirements for all Thailand entities, implementing necessary changes, maintaining and streamlining charts of accounts both locally and at Group level to improve efficiency, reconciliation analysis, and account mapping in group submissions.
- As a team leader, drive team performance, support the achievement of financial key performance indicators through optimal operational practices, and foster strong financial operations and business partnerships to meet service level agreements (SLAs) as committed.
- Improve accounting systems and financial processes to streamline and automate group reporting, budgeting, reconciliation analysis, and reporting checks.
- Support the Group FP&A Manager with group reporting, budgeting, and analysis as required.
- Contribute to ad-hoc company projects where Finance involvement is necessary.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong technical expertise in accounting.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting and management, with a clear grasp of the interconnections between P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.
- Advanced financial modeling and planning capabilities, particularly with Excel.
- Proficient in using SunAccount, with a strong understanding of its structure, processes, chart of accounts, and reporting functions.
- Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, especially insurance-related IFRS standards.
- In-depth experience with SunAccount's e/EPM reporting, consolidation, and planning tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and modeling tools.
