Responsibilities
We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for CHIM CHIM, Bangkok. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is to assist the Restaurant Manager in the day to day operations of the Restaurant in such a manner as to bring into effect the superior product and service expected for our guests in accordance with policies and procedures adopted by the Hotel. And, to assist the Restaurant Manager to achieve Restaurant Budget goals by maintaining profits through increased sales revenue and the effective cost saving.
a. Assist the Restaurant Manager in being responsible for the Restaurants area, ensuring a smooth running, profitable operation within the framework of the Hotel.
b. Providing team with the training and resources to take care of our guests.
c. Achieve Restaurant Budget goals by maintaining profits through increased sales revenue and the efficient cost expenditure.
d. To work with the Restaurant Manager for the monthly department Profit & Loss Statement.
e. Assist in the preparation of the yearly Restaurant Budget by using history & forecasting techniques to develop an aggressive budget that reflects the restaurant capabilities.
f. Accurately forecast business demands on a weekly basis to ensure efficient teamwork schedule & food production.
g. To assist in the accurate supervision of the artist time control and payroll systems by working with Accounting and HR Departments.
h. To ensure the completion of the progress report on a weekly basis and critique discrepancies.
i. To assist in all accounting and billing procedures in the outlets.
j. To ensure the awareness and enforcement of all S.O.P.s.
k. To enforce operational Standards that is periodically reviewed to update and improve.
l. To be aware of all Guest Incentive programs and the correct accounting procedures pertaining to them.
m. To assist in the development and execution of plans and actions for the improvement and marketing of the outlet.
n. To be aware of competitors in the market and assist in the completion of a competition analysis on a quarterly basis.
o. To execute a departmental daily 15 Minutes training program.
p. To assist in all aspects of Artist management including hiring and discipline in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager & Director of FB.
q. To practice open door policy to all Artists.
r. To maintain outlet safety and sanitation standards at all times.
s. To be responsible for asset management of all outlet assets and facilities.
t. To assist in the preventative maintenance inspection on a monthly basis.
u. Promote positive inter-departmental relations through candid communication and cooperation.
v. To respond to guest inquiries or concerns within 24 hours in what is deemed the appropriate manner.
w. Above all, to lead by example through a hands on approach to motivate our Artists to excel.
Qualifications
-At least 1 year experience in Assistant Restaurant Manager position or minimum of 2 years experiences as Restaurant Supervisor.
-Strong in English communication skills both of written and speaking.
-Third languages Chinese and/or Korean will be advantaged.
-Have good foundation of leadership skills, able to lead & manage team.
-Ability to delegate and simplify all tasks to sub-ordinate.
-Good computer literate, able to use Restaurant service system.
-Good Interpersonal skills, presentation skills, communication skills, problem solving skills, Analytic thinking and execution of work.
-Ability to work independently and under pressure.
