Position Summary
In this role, you will be reporting directly to and work closely with the Country Manager, to develop and implement marketing strategies, programs and plans to meet and exceed financial objectives. He/she will manage overall product marketing of Biosensors portfolio products and 3rd party products within the country responsible, ensuring key marketing support is provided at country level.
In an expanded role, this person may need to work with other marketing colleagues in other countries to establish the framework of regional marketing synergies through marketing strategies, programs and activities to increase overall local and regional business revenues and enhance the product branding & clinical positioning for the company.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop go-to-market plans for new products (business models, pricing strategies, promotions, placement), actively manage Product Life Cycle, Conduct Pre-Launch Clinical / Product Evaluations, Launch planning including competitor analysis and pricing review.
- Work closely with regional marketing colleagues to strengthen KOLs development, product branding and country revenues through strategic marketing plans, marketing programs and activities at the SEA region.
- Demand and sales forecasting for new products.
- Provide Sales Force with internal training (on products and usage of collaterals). Developing Customer and Sales Incentives/ promotion program, identify the need for physician education activity, organising and managing courses.
- Prepare in-country product exit plans where necessary.
- Work with Country manager to manage major hospital tender / National tenders, implementation and management of data usage analysis and strategy plan to win major hospital tender / National tenders continuously.
- Develop marketing collaterals for sales teams.
- Gathering market research, trends and competitive intelligence and analysis of external market to better understand customer's needs.
- Development of and interaction with KOLs. Be the champion for products and techniques within the assigned clinical areas or product platforms.
- Assist in implementation and management of regional revenue and profit. Propose solutions to the Regional Team Leader on major issues. Implement approved solutions and program in country and assist with regional and global implementation when required.
- Contribute to the successful launch of new techniques and products by assisting the Sales / Country Managers with country specific launch tasks and activities.
- Take on new territories or shift territories when required to do so.
Position Requirements
- Degree in Science, Biotechnology or any other related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in medical device company, at least 2 years in marketing
- Proven ability to deliver key messaging on a product and clinical basis to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in local product launch of medical device products to the medical community
- Understanding of clinical data and its interpretation to present to internal and external stakeholders
- Adaptable - able to work with colleagues and customers from Southeast Asia region and culture sensitive
- Strong communication and written skills
- Customers oriented mindful of customers needs and how to satisfy them
- Critical thinker and decision marker ability to understand what is best for the business and not afraid to share it with other team members, upwardly and horizontally.
