Purpose of the job
- Monitoring and controlling of Signal, Switch, Track circuit and Train Movement using Traffic operations view, Power Management and Security Services Management are performed using by ICC System (Integrated Control Center), by receiving information and sending control the from/to Interlocking System, Automatic Train Control (ATC) System, SCADA System (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), Security Services and Other interfaces like Passenger information system.
- The Project ICC Design Leader is part of the Project Engineering Team. He /She is responsible to deliver the system or sub-system approved by the customer, respecting the project QCD (Quality Cost Delivery), during the project life cycle.
Key responsibilities:
ICC System includes 3 subsystems: ATS (Automatic Train Supervision), SCADA and Security System. Project ICC Design leader main responsibilities are:
- Be accountable to deliver ICC QCD commitments.
- Be the direct technical interface with the customer for ICC Engineering
- Provide ICC functional and architecture specification, ICC detailed design and ICC interface specifications. Provides corrections during and until customer acceptance
- Make sure technical design is consistent and align with Alstom Product and Specific Gap identified.
- Contribute to the definition of the functional validation phase of the sub-system (Integration & Validation (I&V) and FIVP Factory Integration & Validation Plan)
- Ensure that all domain / metier activities follow applicable methods & tools.
- Make communication with customer and ensure ICC documentation are approved.
- Support Subsystem Manager to ensure full transparency of ICC Engineering Work Package (WP) QCD performance (including physical progress)
- Follow the monthly review cycle with Subsystem Manager, highlighting main variances against the Project Engineering QCD commitment, initiating corrective actions, and immediately informing the Subsystem Manager and Projects Engineering Domain / Mtier department head where major deviations are detected.
- If the ICC scope changes (due to either internal or external changes), support Subsystem Manager in Project Engineering QCD commitment variations with the Project Controller
- Follow and participate in Risk and Savings Reviews for their scope. Provide inputs to Subsystem Manager.
Education:
- Mandatory: Graduated in Software, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic, Automation or Telecommunication Engineering
- Desirable: Graduated in System Engineering field.
Relevant experience required:
- Mandatory: Experience in ATS , Railways, Automation systems, even if in other domains different to railways
- Desirable: Experience in Industrial Automation solutions, and Automation standards.
