Job responsibilities:
1.This is an exciting role with significant Treasury front office interaction, covering trading, sales and asset and liability management across FX and interest rates asset classes. Product scope includes bonds, interest rate swaps, FX swaps, futures and options.
2.The role would involve ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting and monitoring of Global Markets business activities. You will be part of a team which is responsible for:
3.Production of daily Profit and Loss (P&L) reports to monitor trading portfolio performance.
4.Perform analysis and attribution of portfolio P&L due to market movements.
P&L reconciliation against General Ledger.
5.Trade surveillance, including OMR monitoring, FX Global Code Monitoring, and Wash Trade Monitoring
6.Be a key contact point for treasury P&L and valuation issues, interacting with Treasury front office, Finance, Market Risk Managers and Group Head Office counterparts.
Job requirements:
1. Preferably 7 years working experience in the financial industry, preferably in Market Risk Management, Product Control, Treasury Business Finance, or related middle office roles.
2. Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MBA or related areas.
3. Knowledge of Treasury product is required. Working knowledge of Murex is an advantage.
4. Programming skills in VBA, SQL or Python would be beneficial.
5. Fluency in English and good in MS Excel.
6. Highly numerate and strong analytical skills.
7. Good team player with drive, initiative, have an eye for detail and able to work independently under pressure to produce accurate and timely work.
8.Experienced candidates should have a sound knowledge of global market business as well as practical knowledge front office treasury systems used to generate risk and profit & loss numbers.
9.A good understanding of valuation concepts, market risk methodologies and various data elements used for valuation of financial products, as well as familiarity with regulations governing the global markets treasury business are expected.
