Job Title:Budget Analysis Specialist

Wenham Carter Recruitment firm is hiring on behalf of one of the leading carmakers in China that are expanding internationally and launching their Electric Vehicle lineup.
The carmaker is now establishing a manufacturing base in Thailand and is focused on sustainability and innovation, developing intelligent and eco-friendly mobility via their green factory with cutting edge facilities, high-efficiency equipment and low-carbon processes.
We are now recruiting for a Budget Analysis Specialist that will play a key role in the success of this expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Budget Analysis Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the Financial Manager to develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial alignment across the organisation.
- Create and implement policies and processes for budget management, cost control, and expense tracking.
- Conduct medium- and long-term planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and operational analyses.
- Decompose annual financial targets and monitor and evaluate key performance indicators.
- Perform detailed financial analysis related to product development and operational efficiency.
- Manage product costing, pricing strategies, and resource allocation to optimize profitability.
- Provide actionable insights through financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in financial management, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and financial modelling software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
