JOB PURPOSE
In this role you will work together with the Sales Team to drive Husky PET Aftermarket Tooling (AMT) business growth through proactive value selling. Your focus will include, but not limited to: driving accounts strategies based on market segments and intelligence, value based initiatives focused on identified opportunities and needs within the installed base, and proactive drive of AMT campaigns and innovative application development solutions.
You will align, integrate and complement with the regional sales force, to ensure the effectiveness of AMT strategy implementation and the focus on set targets. Maintaining a regular drumbeat on opportunities, orders, revenue and backlog target will be among your key areas of focus.
You will be responsible for developing Market Intelligence to better understand the Customer needs in your area of responsibility and the evolution of the local Beverage Packaging Market.
You will be reporting to the Global Director PET Tooling, with whom you will regularly align your strategy together with the territorial Sales VP, and respective Sales GMs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/Areas of Accountability:
The PET Business Advisor's key responsibilities & areas of accountability are to:
Support on selling AMT value proposition and converting opportunities to orders.
Regular follow up on AMT business targets (Orders, Sales, Backlog, Opportunities)
Gather installed base intelligence, define and drive accounts strategies around products, services and application opportunities
Solution beyond AMT boundaries, driving cross functional value propositions
Drive local market intelligence (market needs, market references, status on standard neck conversions, competitive analysis, strategic networking with local partners).
Lead complex development initiatives in collaboration with the (PET, closure) Application Teams, Sales Managers, Product Managers and external Partners.
Drive the proactive selling strategy for PET Aftermarket tooling with the support of Product Specialist and Sales.
Share local experience within the AMT Team to replicate winning solutions across sales territories.
Representing of Husky at events and trade shows
Frequent travel to various countries in Asia Pacific
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related engineering discipline.
EXPERIENCE
5 years experience in sales support and/or sales in PET beverage packaging injection molding.
Some years of work experience in similar role considered an asset
QUALIFICATIONS
Background in PET Beverage Package industry and market dynamics
Experience in Business Development, Sales, sales support is an asset
Understanding of the PET Tooling market landscape and value proposition drivers
Energy and self-motivation
Excellent persuasive and negotiating skills
Strong interpersonal and project management skills
Team player but able to work independently
Analytic and technical ability suitable for PET marketing and sales
Fluent in English.
