Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Executive at MPFunds. As a Business Development Executive focused on the Thailand market, you will play a pivotal role in driving MPFunds business development efforts in the region. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting thorough market research and analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and competitor activities within the Thailand financial market. By leveraging this insight, you will proactively identify and cultivate a robust pipeline of potential traders through strategic outreach, networking events, and partnership initiatives. You will also work closely with our marketing and operations teams to tailor our offerings to meet the unique needs of the Thai market.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities in the Thailand financial market
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow MPFunds presence in Thailand
- Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential traders, partners, and key stakeholders in the financial industry.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all business development activities in Thailand
- Work and build existing collaborations with trading influencers and communities
- Source and establish new partnerships with other relevant stakeholders
- Organise and participate in networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote MPFunds and its offerings
- Plan and execute internal and external events for the local Thai community
- Collaborate with marketing and operations department to customise strategies for the Thai market
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies
- Achieve and exceed targets and performance metrics
- Provide exceptional support to traders and partners in Thailand
- Ensure compliance with local trading regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Candidates without a degree but with relevant experience are also welcome to apply)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the financial services industry in Thailand
- Excellent written and verbal skills in both Thai and English
- Strong understanding of the Thai financial market, trading regulations, and cultural nuances
- Proven track record of achieving targets and building successful partnerships in Thailand
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing network within the Thailand financial industry
- Experience and/or knowledge in the prop firm industry
- Knowledge and/or experience in trading
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving market landscape
- Proficiency and knowledge in Discord & Tidio is a plus
