ROLE PURPOSE:
The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives for our language courses. You must be comfortable working within a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment, developing the EP School's channel of partners, qualifying prospects and converting inquiries to sales.
You will define and own recruitment targets mainly for Thailand and SE Asia. This is a business development role aimed at driving market growth and diversification strategies, including overseeing direct recruitment and managing agents, schools, and other networks.
Most importantly, we are seeking a committed team player who aligns with EP's organisational culture in this exciting and challenging role. The candidate will provide a caring approach to all our customers, ensuring a personalised and positive experience.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with senior management to set sales targets for Thailand & SE Asia in line with corporate objectives.
- Ensure all agents in SE Asia are signed with English Path, are regularly met and contacted.
- Provide training for counsellors on a weekly basis on our courses and new products.
- Support the international sales team as needed.
- Design, implement and evaluate sales strategy within SE Asia
- Work closely with schools to ensure all communications are timely and well-integrated with in-country sales strategy
- Develop and maintain strong links with all faculties/schools to provide market insight and marketing and recruitment support
- Identify budget requirements and manage delivery of targets within agreed budget
- Responsible for sales and budget reporting regularly
- Maintain an awareness of international developments in the English language sector
- Stay informed about developments in the school's course offerings, fees, visa regulations, visa fees, medical requirements, and other relevant information.
- Provide advice and guidance to enquirers and applicants on topics such as the initial application cycle, processing times, and clearing processes.
- Support the school's enquiries promptly and professionally to deliver an efficient, customer-focused service for prospective students.
- Prioritise the needs of the students, ensuring a tailored approach based on their individual requirements.
- Undertake travel whenever necessary in support of sales in the region
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional qualification.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Thai native speaker and any additional languages are a bonus.
- Able to work remotely, as part of a team, and independently.
- Proficient in using social media and networks efficiently.
- Strong presence and experience with phone and video calling.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Good listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- Experience in international education and English language sectors is preferred.
- Experience in for-profit education is a plus.
- Understanding cultural differences, with tact and diplomacy, and able to stay calm under pressure.
- Proven ability to work well with others and contribute to shared plans and strategies.
- Commitment to professional growth, actively seeking and welcoming feedback.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
