Position: Business Development Manager (warehouse solutions)
Salary: 90,000 THB/Month (total package)
Location: Maptaphut, Rayong (Onsite 100%)
Main Responsibility:
Market Research & Identify Potential Clients:
- Manufacturers and distributors in Thailand region.
- E-commerce businesses looking for fulfillment services.
- Companies expanding their operations and needing additional storage.
- Research online directories and industry publications.
- Attend trade shows and industry events.
Sales & Marketing & Client Relationships
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure contracts.
- Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Implement email marketing campaigns with valuable content and special offers.
- Regularly solicit feedback to identify areas for improvement and exceed client expectations.
Business Development Strategy
- Set clear sales targets and revenue goals for the team.
- Develop a pricing strategy that is competitive and reflects the value you offer.
- Invest in warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Partner with complementary businesses like transportation companies for value-added services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (minimum 3 years), preferably in the warehousing or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations, logistics processes, and the current warehousing market.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate costs, analyze market trends, and prepare compelling proposals for clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying client needs and developing winning solutions.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and potential on-site assessments.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English for clear and concise communication with clients and colleagues.
