SeatOS is on a mission to transform and digitize the land & sea travel industry, making all routes instantly bookable by anyone. Part of the leading land & sea transportation group, Travelier, SeatOS is building the dominant Transport Management System (TMS) in APAC.
We are hiring for a Business Development representative for our Thai market to join us on this mission. The successful candidate will support the growth of the SeatOS business in Thailand by assisting in business development activities, shadowing senior team members, and contributing to administrative and operational tasks. This role will be based in Thailand and report to our Head of Sales & Customer Success.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks, including updating CRM systems, preparing sales materials, and managing documentation.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments for the business development team with potential and existing clients.
- Support the sales pipeline by handling lead generation activities, qualifying prospects, and nurturing leads under the guidance of senior team members.
- Shadow senior business development staff to learn about sales strategies, client relationship management, and the SeatOS platform.
- Close smaller size deals with supervision, contributing to the team's sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends in the ground and sea travel industry in Thailand.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Success and Product, to ensure client needs are met and to provide feedback for product improvements.
- Maintain and update sales reports and performance metrics, assisting in tracking progress towards goals.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Thai, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Local to Thailand, with a deep understanding of the local market.
- Eager to learn and able to follow instructions from senior team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and willingness to develop skills in business development.
- Proficiency with software tools such as CRM systems, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in sales or business development roles is preferred but not essential.
