Key Objectives
Responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategies of the organization, ensuring sustainable financial health, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing leadership in financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
Responsibility
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy. Work with senior management to establish and monitor long-term goals, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze and present financial reports, ensuring clarity in understanding and alignment with company objectives.
- Financial Operations: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and investment planning. Optimize the financial operations, including accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and internal auditing.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial risks through comprehensive risk management strategies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, working with departmental heads to ensure accurate forecasting.Analyze variances in financial performance, providing recommendations for adjustments.
- Investor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for investors, banks, and financial institutions. Prepare investor presentations and manage shareholder communications. Represent the company in investor meetings and other financial forums.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Identify skill gaps, providing training and resources for professional development. Ensure the finance team adheres to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualification
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Experience: At least 10 years of senior finance leadership experience, with experience as a CFO or a similar role in a mid-to-large organization.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen, excellent analytical and communication skills, strategic thinking, and proficiency in financial software.
