What you will be doing:
Work with the regional team in managing the P&L responsibilities of Move Duty-Free in Thailand.
Drive KPI include GMV, revenue and bottom-line margin for Move Duty-Free line-of-business in Thailand, by driving business development, merchant growth and coordinating with the regional marketing, operations and logistics team in conjunction with cross-functional business units.
Coordinate with the regional marketing team on local marketing initiatives and coordinate with the local operations to ensure SLAs are fulfilled and implemented accordingly.
To drive local merchant acquisition, management, marketing and operations to deliver agreed Key Results (eg. no. of active SKUs, GMV, Conversion) on a quarterly and annual basis, in conjunction with corresponding group teams.
Lead and drive the expansion of business through the expansion of operation models within the country together with the group.
Act as key coordinator to represent AirAsia Move Duty-Free in Thailand both externally and internally to all cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Digital and Platform Marketing and Airline Operations.
What you will need:
5+ years of experience preferably in travel retail, airline ancillary sales, e-Commerce, online marketplace management or travel retail digitization in Thailand, or South East Asia.
Hands-on experience in Digital Marketing, Omnichannel implementation is an added advantage.
A minimum of Bachelor's/Master's Degree(s) in the related field.
Experience working with senior leadership in both early-stage and larger, regional organizations - a strong understanding of the trade-offs inherent in organizations of differing sizes.
Accelerated advancement throughout past positions or a part of the founding team.
Agile all-rounder - must be equally adept at strategy, tactical decision making and operations.
Growth is a team sport - demonstrate a track record of leading and building successful cross-functional teams that have put something new or unique out into the world.
A special ability to juggle multiple priorities and build a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical skills, understands complex issues, quickly absorbs information, excels in conceptual and creative problem-solving.
An engaging oral and written communicator.
