Responsibilities
- Review stats on an ongoing basis to understand how the copy/content is working and improvise accordingly
- Create scripts for advertisements and product videos
- Develop copy on a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms such as the company website, blogs, articles, social media and product descriptions
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability
- Liaison with other departments (campaign managers, creative team, and designers) as needed to ensure the content strategy is effectively implemented across channels
- Collaborates on the development of content style guides, content and messaging strategies, best practices and processes
- Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content
- Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
- Identify customers needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company's current content
Desired Skills & Experience
- Excellent grammar and writing skills
- Have a flair for writing with an understanding of what works on the internet & social media
- Be highly creative and imaginative with an effective writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer-friendly
- Have a knack for editing and proofreading with good research skills
- Be knowledgeable about digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Creative and Poetry writing skills will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in multiple languages is desired
- Fresher or 1-year of professional writing experience, especially, on the digital platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or a related field
