Responsibilities
- Conducting investment appraisals using techniques such as NPV, DCF, and IRR.
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial modeling for investment opportunities and developing new transaction models.
- Gathering data from internal and external sources to develop financial forecasts and ranges for strategic opportunities.
- Analyzing data requirements related to derivation rules and model tracking.
- Overseeing transaction due diligence to assess financial and non-financial risks, with recommendations for mitigation.
- Producing high-quality spreadsheets and reports using Excel.
- Demonstrating strong analytical skills and business acumen, along with experience in risk management and client credit analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within investment banking or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
