HIRING POSITION : Corporate Legal -Trademark focus (Specialist - Assistance Manager Level)

Our client, founded in 2000, specializes in producing healthy fruit drinks with international standards for export to more than 40 countries worldwide, including Europe and Asia. They are also ranked among the top 3 in Asia, in the healthy beverage market in 2022. With a growth of 20% last year, they were able to generate a revenue of 2.3 billion baht.
In 2024, they aim to grow by 30% due to the introduction of new products that require expansion to foreign markets. Additionally, they aim to become the number one healthy beverage brand in Asia.
Responsibilities
1. Trademark and Intellectual Property Management:
- Oversee and manage all trademark registrations, renewals, and licensing to safeguard the company brand and intellectual property in both domestic and international markets.
- Provide legal support on intellectual property issues, ensuring proper registration and protection of new products as the company expands into foreign markets.
- Handle any disputes related to trademark infringement, counterfeit goods, or intellectual property violations, and coordinate with external legal counsel as necessary.
2. Advertising and Marketing Compliance:
- Ensure all advertising and promotional materials adhere to local and international advertising laws and regulations.
- Review and approve marketing campaigns, product labels, and digital content to ensure compliance with applicable advertising standards and minimize potential legal risks.
- Advise the commercial and marketing teams on best practices for advertising claims and consumer protection laws.
3. Commercial Team Support:
- Collaborate with the commercial team to draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to product distribution, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Provide legal insights and support to assist the commercial team in expanding to new markets, addressing potential legal risks, and ensuring contract compliance.
- Offer guidance on regulatory requirements for market entry, ensuring adherence to international standards and legal obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in legal roles, with expertise in trademark law, advertising law, and commercial contract management.
- Experience in the FMCG industry
- Knowledge of business law, government agency regulations, commercial law, and contract drafting, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Skills required in labor law, tax law, international law (especially in countries where our subsidiary companies operate), and management.
- Strong command of English, with experience in handling cross-border legal issues preferred.
