All about the role:
Analyses, coordinates, and forecasts complex financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information and recommendations to senior management for medium and long term strategic and operational decisions.
Coordinates activities related to budget, forecasts, costs and other, involving the control and data reporting for a country/plant.
Develops and implements accounting policies, programs, and systems to control the organization's financial assets and provide complete and accurate financial information and records.
May lead or manage other analyst(s) at junior levels
What you'll do:
- Lead, supervise and develop costing team.
- Ensure accurate and timely cost accounts and inventory transaction booking, closing, and reporting
- Review and verify work done by costing team (product costing, Transfer prices, project assessment
- Align costing processes in line with internal operational processes to the best efficiency and transparency
- Carry out tasks and drive processes initiated by him/herself and those under guidance of the Factory Controller
- Controls expenditures and investment budgets and act as cost consultant to managers of other functions
- Assist and/or lead implementations of cost control processes and projects
- Coordinate with and support both internal and external auditors on various audit events
- Be co-leader with Logistics department for annual physical inventory
- Additional responsibilities outside of standard job responsibilities as required
Who You Are
- Bachelor s Degree, in accounting
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing accounting.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting especially on product costing, project assessment, and cost controlling and analysis.
