Country Human Resources Manager (European MNC)
Our client is an European logistics multinational company that is hiring a Country HR Manager to lead a small team for their Thailand operations. This role will report to the HR Director in SEA and will manage 180 full time employees.
Your role will be a generalist and will span across HR Business partnering, operations, talent acquisition, L&D and compensation and benefit areas.
Job Description
- Maintain organisation guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures aligned to local labour regulations.
- Serve as a business partner to the local managing director in areas of hiring, talent management and other strategic things.
- Oversee the recruitment process through internal and external recruitment channels to find, attract and retain capable applicants.
- Serve as a link between management and employees in handling employee grievances or any HR-related queries.
- Analyse training needs to design employee development, language training and health and safety programs.
- Own the performance management cycle and evaluate the performance of subordinates to opine on their promotion, merit increases, transfers, disciplinary measures and/or termination.
- Administer Company's HR System to ensure its smooth and accurate operation and update.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related majors
- At least 8 years of experience in the field of Logistics, Supply chain, with 3 years in management capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and strategic thinking ability
- Dynamic working style and a team player with ability to work independently
