Seagate's Credit Department focuses on mitigating credit risks while focusing on managing credit lines worldwide efficiently. Supporting Collection Team while maintaining excellent relationship with our customers are also some of our primary responsibilities. We are an organized and well-established Group that is constantly looking for high quality service to support the business.
. Work closely with relevant departments to secure customer data and financial statements o Enforce credit policies and procedures through, but not limited to, the following:
. Provide effective credit analysis for new and existing customers and evaluate the degree of credit risk associated with the credit line proposed or assigned
. Perform in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations to assist decision making by management
. Create ad-hoc analysis reports, executive summaries, and regular reports to aid management decision making
. Monitor and analyze key AMER, EMEA and APAC economies
. Identify potential risks and opportunities within the WW customer portfolio
. Perform cash flow analysis and create customer forecasts
. Conduct research and conceptualize new techniques, ideas, and solutions for a variety of credit challenges
. Provide relevant departments with critical updates on the financial condition of their customers
. Working closely with sales and sales operations in managing customer orders while keeping a watch on the credit exposure, past due issues, and to minimize the risk of customer disputes
. Working as one team- coordinate and facilitate global credit and collections efforts and close communication and collaboration within credit and collections team
o Be familiar with the policies and procedures
o Maintain and update desktop procedures on a regular basis
o Communicate and enforce policies when necessary
o Assist with SOX controls and compliance procedures
o Perform ad-hoc control procedures that may be assigned
. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (Understanding and reading Chinese fluently is a plus)
. Eager to learn and curious about what is going on in the World
. Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
. Able to understand and relate financial data, news updates and other relevant information made available by market research agencies
. Experience in developing mathematical and statistical models is a plus
. Being proactive on taking actions on anticipated environmental changes, legislation, market movements, annual performance results of our customers, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
. Basic concept of credit risk mitigation strategies, practices, and systems
. Exceptional analytical skills
. Knowledge in analysis of financial statements, cash flow analysis, industry/market credit research, and ever-changing country risks is a plus
. Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop customer relationships, negotiate, and effectively relay information and resolve disputes
. Possess a process improvement mindset with a desire to consistently look for ways to improve efficiency and service while maintaining a big picture perspective
. Proven initiative to support current and future growth
. Working in a credit analysis function or quantitative experience You May Also Have: . Familiarity with SAP system
. Bachelor's and/or equivalent experience
. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
. Strong oral and written communication skills in English
. Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects, with varying degrees of supervision
. Strong oral and written communications skills in Chinese
. Worked in larger scale corporations that have presence worldwide

The estimated base salary range for this position is $56,000 - $80,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
