Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing robotic/automation jobs, including site preparation, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, upgrading, and follow up on service escalations.
- To ensure all services and projects meet planned time, cost, and customer requirements.
- Keeps accurate records of service calls, maintains inventory of service parts, tools, and test equipment.
- Undertake main Hotline support over phone and email offering high quality responses to technical enquiries from customers and take appropriate escalation process to ensure responding in timely manners. This includes after hours for key customers.
- Able to travel to customer sites on short notice to respond to customer emergencies.
- Conduct technical training and/or provide support for system integrators and end customers with operation and programming various industrial robotic applications using appropriate range of products including technology packages.
Position Requirements
- Degree in Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years working experience in mechanical repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge in Automation, Robotics, Electronics
- PLC and C++ programming is an added advantage
- Good command in English with strong communication skills.
