Data Scientist (Junior-Mid Level)
Role and Responsibilities /
- Apply statistical and machine learning methods to analyze large and complex datasets, providing insights and actionable recommendations in customer acquisition, segmentation, and personalized marketing areas.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to implement end-to-end process from model development to testing, validation, deployment.
- Plan and conduct A/B testing to verify model performance and assess the effectiveness of the campaign for future enhancement.
- Solve complex issues on both technical and business sides using advanced analytical techniques.
Qualifications /
- 0-2+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or PySpark)
- Good understanding and hand-on experience in ML model development (e.g. classification/regression, tree-based model, clustering, SVMs, PCA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with cross-functional team
Specific knowledge and skill /
- Solid understanding of financial industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of advanced statistical methods and machine learning practices
- Exceptional coding skills or a background in software development
- Ability to articulate complex concepts effectively to a non-technical audience
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
