Job Summary:
As the HR Director, you will oversee all aspects of the human resources function, including recruitment, training, administration, and employee engagement. You will lead a team of 5 junior HR professionals, ensuring that they are coached and developed to excel in their roles. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrate strategic thinking, and manage HR processes effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Leadership: Lead and manage the HR department, mentoring a team of 5 junior HR members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives, focusing on people development, talent acquisition, retention, and cultural alignment.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruitment for all levels, ensuring we attract top talent to support our growing business needs.
- Training and Development: Create, implement, and monitor training programs that foster professional growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and promoting employee well-being.
- Performance Management: Lead the performance review process, ensuring timely feedback, goal setting, and professional development plans for employees.
- HR Administration: Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Monitor HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform leadership decisions.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with other departments, especially Operations and Finance, to align HR initiatives with broader business goals.
- Compliance: Ensure that all HR activities are compliant with local labor regulations and company policies.
- Culture and Employer Branding: Lead initiatives to maintain and enhance a strong organizational culture aligned with the company's core values and mission.
Qualifications:
- Native Thai speaker with high proficiency in English.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in human resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven experience in driving HR strategy and implementing HR best practices in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws and HR compliance.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a junior HR team.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of navigating complex HR issues with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume work with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
