As head of Marketing for the property, the Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of the hotel's marketing strategy, including brand management, digital marketing, advertising, public relations, social media, and promotions. They will work closely with the hotel's senior leadership team to create and implement effective marketing campaigns that drive revenue and increase brand awareness.
This role will work closely with ONYX marketing team, operations team, stakeholders and external partners to ensure that marketing plans are aligned with business objectives and will be responsible for measuring the success of marketing efforts and to support in producing effective marketing content across all platforms under, grow the hotel's presence, drive brand awareness, and support business objectives. He/She will also be responsible for assisting with day-to-day business and commercial requirements for special projects, as well as ensuring all communications are in line with the relevant brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimise a customer-centric, digital focused marketing and content strategy for the property
- Develop and execute marketing plans for the property that align with business objectives, target audiences, and budgets
- Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to deliver data-driven marketing strategies
- Track and measure the success of marketing efforts, and use data to make informed decisions about future marketing plans
- Collaborate with ONYX marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns that include social media, CRM for email marketing, digital advertising, and in-store promotions
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the guest experience
- Develop relationships with external partners, such as media outlets and event planners, to secure local promotions and partnerships
- Act as brand custodian for all internal and external communication material
- Develop strong cross-functional partnership to execute strategic marketing initiatives
- Manage the production of marketing materials, including print collateral, digital assets, and videos by working
- Manage the property communications and coordination with ONYX Marketing team
- Support in the development of property level content related to Restaurant & Spa branches, writing, editing, and proofreading
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a marketing function, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred Digital Marketing within hospitality industry background
