Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our team at our prestigious hotel in Mai Khao, Thailand. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Lead and motivate the front office team to maintain high standards of customer service
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless departure for all guests
  • Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient hotel operations
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the property
  • Manage room inventory and optimize occupancy rates
  • Handle financial transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality
  • Assist in creating staff schedules and managing payroll
  • Respond to and manage emergency situations effectively
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, local regulations, and industry standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience in a hotel or resort environment
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills
  • Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Thai is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and trust accounting
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, safety procedures, and local hospitality regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
