Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our team at our prestigious hotel in Mai Khao, Thailand. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead and motivate the front office team to maintain high standards of customer service
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless departure for all guests
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient hotel operations
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the property
- Manage room inventory and optimize occupancy rates
- Handle financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality
- Assist in creating staff schedules and managing payroll
- Respond to and manage emergency situations effectively
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, local regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience in a hotel or resort environment
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Thai is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software and trust accounting
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Knowledge of hotel operations, safety procedures, and local hospitality regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
