Job Purpose
Plan, develop and execute the overall e-Commerce business strategy; lead and drive the day-to-day business activities of websites, e-shop business in order to grow the online business sustainably.
Job Scope
- Develop and execute the overall e-commerce business and marketing strategy to achieve online revenue, profit, and website key metrics.
- Lead team to develop new customers/opportunities in digital & eCommerce channel, including the emerging social commerce, live-streaming platforms, etc.; maintain and support existing customers to grow business.
- Work closely with Marketing/Trade Marketing team to develop, execute, and manage e-commerce marketing programs including promotions, creative, email, web, direct mail, and marketing collateral for on-line visibility; Provide analysis and insight to manage the success of marketing programs and improve efficiency.
- With alignment with Marketing, lead the development and management of social platform matrix, directs monitoring, creating, publishing, moderation, and engagement of all contents on all social media platforms. And manage the digital assets (product imagery, product specs, videos, long and short product descriptions, social media sample content, SEO keywords, etc.).
- Work with Marketing/PSM to develop the new products exclusively for e-commerce channel.
- Work closely with Finance and Country Managers to develop and execute the pricing strategy for e-business.
- Lead the development and execution of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategy and action plan.
- Develop, manage, and report on the digital market intelligence, including study of user profile, purchase behavior, market insights, eCommerce channel and customer analysis, competitors, technology evolve trends. Responsible for sharing the latest digital trends and best-practice examples to the marketing team.
- Together with Marketing, to work closely with appointed agencies to refine / update the online platform, and to drive traffic and deliver a superior customer experience, Including mobile optimization of digital assets.
- Prepare and present monthly analytical review of e-commerce performance.
- Manage and develop enablers/distributors network, key e-commerce accounts and appointed e-shop operators and build up strong relationship with different e-sales channel in a professional manner.
- Supported by the Country Managers, to manage overall e-business operations, including but not limited to inventory and warehouse, logistics and distribution, sales forecasting, and pricing monitoring etc.
Job Specification Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in e-commerce, business, digital marketing is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in FMCG with at least 3 years in online sales and marketing or e-commerce from a consumer goods or retail business, or experience in e-platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada), e-commerce enablers, having experience with key SEA markets is highly preferred.
- Familiar with each market e-business and set-up regulation
- Extensive experience and knowledge of social media platforms, e-commerce marketplaces, and Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Shopee, LAZADA etc.
- Good business acumen with proven record of meeting revenue and profit targets preferably in food industry
- Strong analytical skills required including demonstrated ability in website analysis, analysis of raw data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills; Ability to collaborate with external and internal parties.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, self-motivated
