The Position
EHS Section Manager, Lampang Plant
Job Summary
- Implement EHS rules and procedures according to Imerys and legal standards, and verify that they are well understood and applied across the entire plant.
- Manage all EHS activities in the site to minimize risk to employees, customers, neighbors, and the environment
- Implement EHS rules and procedures according to Imerys and legal standards, and verify that they are well understood and universally applied across the entire plant.
- Work with the Plant Manager to develop EHS Annual Operating Plan, annual EHS goals and EHS KPIs.
- Develop, adapt and administer appropriate EHS training as required by local regulation, IMERYS policy or in support of site specific EHS programs or initiatives.
- Perform risk analysis on major and minor activities done in the production unit and evaluate and implement the appropriate procedures/corrective actions to reduce any risks
- Conduct routine audits on general safety practices and propose/implement derived corrective actions and measures.
- Work effectively with other support to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of EHS programs and EHS culture. Ensure the EHS support for the daily activities to the production.
