ERP Platform Architect

Job Purpose:

The Platform Architect plays a pivotal role in defining the organization's technology platform strategy whilst designing, developing, and overseeing implementations of their respective platform within the organization. Their job encompasses understanding business processes and requirements, ensuring the platform aligns with business goals, and integrating various business functions into a cohesive system. They also ensure that the platform is scalable, reliable, and adaptable to changing business needs, while maintaining data integrity and security. They work closely with stakeholders across different departments to facilitate smooth system deployment and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

1. Platform Design and Strategy

• Develop and maintain the organization's platform architecture, ensuring it supports current and future business needs.
• Define platform standards, best practices, and guidelines.

2. Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the selection, deployment, and management of hardware, software, and cloud resources.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

3. Security and Compliance

• Implement security measures to protect data, applications, and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

4. Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and constraints.
• Communicate platform strategies and updates effectively to stakeholders.

5. Emerging Technologies

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies that can enhance the platform.

6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Drive innovation in platform design and architecture.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Master's Degree is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in SAP platform architecture and cloud technologies.

Experience:

• 10 years of experience in SAP platform architecture and infrastructure management.
• Proven track record in designing scalable and secure platforms.
