As the Executive Chef, your main responsibility will be to oversee the operations of all kitchen/food production related of the hotel. This includes managing and training the kitchen team members, coordinating culinary activities, estimating food consumption and purchasing food, as well as developing and selecting recipes. Additionally, you will need to ensure that the production of the dishes is standardized to maintain consistent quality and establish presentation, technique, and quality standards. You will also be responsible for planning and pricing menus, ensuring proper equipment maintenance, and maintaining safety and sanitation in the kitchen. You may also be required to cook certain dishes for special occasions and oversee special catering events. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for hiring, people development, and performance reviews of the kitchen team members, and report to EAM-F&B or Hotel Manager or General Manager. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for driving revenue and ensuring profitable kitchen operations.
