Responsibilities:
Develop, negotiate, and administer all Company's contracts.
Manage and monitor the implementation and administration of such contracts.
Manage, prepare, or review the company's correspondence with external stakeholders like contractors, off-takers, governmental- and non-governmental agencies, lenders, insurers, etc.
Understand the corporate strategy and plans and help the company achieve them.
Assess current and emerging risks for the Company's operation from its contractual obligations. Assess and evaluate contractual risks and inform management.
Work closely with the executive team, clients, business development, Admin, and other stakeholders to make sure the teams can work together well
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering, Law, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 15 years of practical experience working on large infrastructure projects; experience in the power business is a benefit
- Must have worked in an international environment with English as a key language; overseas experience considered beneficial
- Good knowledge of the power- and construction industry.
- Familiarity with internationally used standard forms of contract like FIDIC, NEC etc.
- Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English. Thai language literacy is a benefit
- Able to understand, assess, and interpret complex, legal documents and understand their implications and potential consequences to the Company.
- Be able to develop risk scenarios and advise top management on the recommended course of action with clear identification of pros and cons and potential related risks
- Be able to make sound judgments based on knowledge and experiences.
- Be able to work under pressure and according to tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and reading / writing for English, Thai as a benefit
