Job Description

  • Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, and compressed gas delivery
  • Familiar with local governmental procedures and requirements for laboratories
  • Willingness to provide on-call support in case of an emergency
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide direction to contractors and vendors
  • Experience working with analytical instrumentation (Scanning Electron Microscopes, X-ray systems, chemical analysis tools, etc.)
  • Experience with the daily operations of a laboratory
  • managing calibration and maintenance records.
  • coordinating vendors for equipment installations and maintenance
  • facilitating lab equipment and building repairs
