Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Failure Analysis Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in failure analysis techniques and a proven track record of operating CT/2D X-ray machines. This position requires expertise in various analytical tools and methods, including Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, XRD, SEM, EDS, FIB, FTIR, and GCMS.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT/2D X-ray machines in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, holding Level 1 certification from either the Baba Atomic Research Centre (BARC) or the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).
Perform detailed failure analysis investigations using a variety of techniques, including Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, XRD, SEM, EDS, FIB, FTIR, and GCMS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of failures and recommend appropriate solutions.
Generate comprehensive reports documenting analysis findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians in failure analysis techniques and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in failure analysis methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in failure analysis in a relevant industry.
Level 1 certification to operate CT/2D X-ray machines from BARC or AERB.
Proficiency in a wide range of failure analysis techniques, including Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, XRD, SEM, EDS, FIB, FTIR, and GCMS.
Working knowledge of consumer electronics is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
