We're looking for an experienced and confident individual to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand as a Finance Lead. As a Finance Lead, you will be key in performing day-to-day accounting functions, assisting with the Company's forecasting process, and providing regular financial reporting and analysis to Management.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Management and Finance team on the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and reports.
- Review accounting records/financial statements to ensure accuracy, and perform month-end reconciliation and analysis, including but not limited to fixed assets, inventory aging and bank statements.
- Prepare and maintain cashflow reports, monthly management reports and financial accounts.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for annual statutory audits, tax filings and annual corporate tax returns.
- Monitor and interpret local financial legislation and standards, ensuring the Company's financial practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local financial legislation.
- Perform all AP/AR functions and support the team with necessary payments, including but not limited to third party vendor payments, tax payments and customer refunds.
- Work with the People Operations team in facilitating staff payroll, reimbursements and other staff-related payments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial laws, regulations, and standards.
- Assist in ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
- Perform any other duties to ensure the overall success of the business.
We're seeking the following attributes:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting, with minimally 4-5 years of relevant working experience.
- ACCA/CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Retail/E-commerce/B2C industries would be a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of local taxation regulations with ability to advise.
- High attention to detail, with strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and communication skills in Thai and English.
