Finance Manager (International Payment)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage International Transactions:
- Oversee the processing of international payments including wire transfers, foreign currency transactions, and other cross-border financial operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments to global vendors, partners, and employees.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all international payments comply with relevant global regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with international payments.
Optimization and Efficiency:
- Implement best practices to streamline payment processes and reduce transaction costs.
- Utilize technology to enhance the efficiency of international payment systems.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present reports on international payment activities to senior management.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal departments such as Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Legal to ensure seamless payment operations.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers to resolve issues and negotiate terms.
Project Management:
- Lead projects related to the enhancement of the international payment function, including system upgrades and new payment methods.
- Manage and support a team of payment professionals, providing training and development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international payment processing, banking, or financial services.
- Proven experience in managing cross-border transactions and understanding of foreign exchange markets.
