The Role
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Report to Regional Finance Manager, the ideal candidate requires to support the CULINES Group on internal control and financing & accounting function. He/ She will have to coordinate and manage for accounting closing, financial & month-end report in Group Level; support company project in area of financing & accounting and pre-approve company payments within assigned limit, ensure the proper implementation of company strategies and objectives, and any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Regional Finance Manager in Singapore Headquarter.
- Overseeing and managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
- Responsible for managing treasury, cash flow, and working capital to ensure optimal financial management.
- Lead and manage a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with the regional finance manager to ensure the timely preparation of accurate financial statements and reports.
- Ensuring the accuracy of statutory financial and analyzing the company's periodic performance.
- Analyzing cost strategies of various channels and providing valuable insights for improvement.
- Developing effective tax planning strategies for the company and reviewing tax calculations.
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing the annual budget and presenting variances to management.
- Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company.
- Acting as the company's representative in dealings with banks, tax offices, auditors, and other official institutions.
- Minimizing company risk and receivables, providing accurate aging reports, and maintaining collection strategy and credit risk management with distributors and key accounts.
- Providing support to the Country Head, and Regional Finance Manager on other necessary matters.
Ideal Profile
Essential Experience, Skills, And Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Being familiar with the knowledge of Thailand Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) is must.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in Thailand.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance and achieving organizational goals.
- Effectively bilingual in both English and Thai (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English speaking associates verbally/ in writing whenever appropriate.
