Analyze and review financial data for anomalies before closing accounts or submitting reports to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the bank's financial reports.
Provide consultation on the preparation of financial reports to ensure they are accurate, timely, and comply with international and Thai financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Review the appropriateness of financial statements and accompanying notes to reflect good governance and the bank's strategy, ensuring no conditions are present in the auditor's report.
Analyze, review, and present options with pros and cons for decision-making by senior management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, alignment with goals, and timeliness.
Monitor developments in international and Thai financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements, control, review, and summarize issues to present the financial impact on the bank. Prepare for implementation with relevant departments before such requirements take effect.
Control and participate in testing financial data when there are additions/changes to the financial system or reporting system within the specified time to ensure the bank's financial reports comply with international and Thai financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Negotiate with the bank's auditors and regulatory officials, such as the Bank of Thailand and the Stock Exchange of Thailand, on complex issues related to financial reporting and disclosure in the notes to the financial statements.
Continuously improve work processes and develop a knowledge management system for financial reporting within the department.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
5-7 years of experience in accounting within the financial institution industry or large businesses listed on the stock exchange.
