Roles & Responsibilities :-
- Oversee the assembly/disassembly of molds and tooling on machinery and process equipment.
- Fitting and assembly of tooling and moulds to engineering drawings
- Complete and document mold testing.
- Using hand tools to fit and assemble components.
- Using pillar drills, deburing tools and grinding wheels where necessary.
- Use engineering measuring equipment where necessary.
- Drilling and tapping of components where necessary
- Regulate molding settings and their optimal adjustment.
- Oversee production startup/stoppage according to the schedule.
- Identify and analyze problems, and provide effective solutions throughout the production process.
- Conduct minor maintenance on machines and equipment, and supervise staff on the shift.
Required Candidate Profile:-
- Hold a secondary school/ Diploma in Plastic Technology and regulating of molding machines, or an equivalent.
- Have 3-6 years of experience in plastic injection molding.
- Have sufficient knowledge of CNC/VMC Machine.
- Training in plastic materials processing an asset.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
